VB Sharp LLC (“VB Sharp,” “we,” “our”) is a mobile knife and scissors sharpening service based in Vero Beach, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website or book our services.

2. What We Collect
When you submit a booking request, we collect:
- Full name — to address you and document your account
- Email address — for booking confirmations and follow-up
- Phone number — to confirm your pickup window
- Service address — to schedule your pickup and delivery
- Service preferences — the plan or type of sharpening you requested
- Optional notes — any special requests you include in the message field
If you become a recurring customer, we may also maintain records of your service history, blade inventory, and payment history for scheduling and billing purposes.
We do not collect payment card details directly. Payments are processed in person via Square, cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information solely to:
- Confirm and schedule your pickup and delivery
- Contact you to coordinate service details
- Maintain service history for your account
- Send invoices or billing communications
- Respond to your questions or concerns
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party.
4. How We Store Your Data
Your information is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your records is restricted to VB Sharp staff only, using role-based access controls.
We retain your information for as long as you are an active customer plus a period of up to 3 years for business records. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).
5. Cookies & Website Technology
Our website uses only strictly necessary session cookies to maintain your login session if you access the customer portal. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics).
We do use Google Fonts to display our website typography. Google may log font requests; see Google's Privacy Policy for details.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Deletion — Request that we delete your personal data
- Opt out — Unsubscribe from any communications at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at Sharp@vbsharp.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will respond within 30 days.
7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate our business:
- Supabase — secure database and authentication (data stored in the United States)
- Google Fonts — website typography
- Square / Venmo / Zelle — in-person payment processing (we do not transmit card data through our website)
We do not share your personal information with these services beyond what is necessary to operate.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our website, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
